ANSOO GUPTA’S TALKS & WORKSHOPS
Ansoo Gupta started traveling independently almost 20 years back when travel information in India was not that readily available. She used to research and plan her own itineraries for her solo travels to exotic locales such asGreat Barrier Reef in Australia, Machu Picchu in Peru, Galapagos in Ecuador, Cappadocia in Turkey, Paraty in Braziletc all on her own. She always came back amazed and enriched and then encouraged her friends to go too.
She has now traveled to over 60 countries and managed to see some fantastic sights such as Northern Lights, Yee Peng, Rio Carnival etc. In a rare feat 12 years back, she managed to take a four-month-long leave from a hectic TV job to go backpacking all over Europe. She wants everyone to do that. And that is why she now conducts travel talks and travel workshops where she shares her secrets and tips about value-for-money, long, independent, international travels.
It is Ansoo’s firm belief that independent travel can teach us important life skills, teach us the value of universal brotherhood and is the most entertaining, enriching form of learning. The areas of the brain that get lit up while traveling independently and exploring places far away from familiar surroundings are the same that get lit up when we experience a high.
People – young boys and girls, professionals in hectic corporate jobs, and even energetic senior citizens attend her travel workshops to learn the secrets of planning their own travel, travelling for longer durations rather than just a week or two and to make crucial choices about which destinations would they like to visit next and how to prepare for it. They all become a part of a vibrant, travel-passionate community that meets often and stays in touch with each other even after the travel workshop is over.
